1、 Plugin command:
Instructions for using 5 commands to enhance the projection plugin.

1. Projection Settings

——Use this dialog box to select plugin settings:

(1) The auxiliary line style that will be created during projection has four types of dashed line styles to choose from.
(2) Select the layer to place the guide lines on.
(3) Select projection trajectory: limited auxiliary lines, infinite auxiliary lines, straight lines, or no auxiliary lines. The auxiliary lines we usually use are infinite, and here we can create a limited number of auxiliary line segments, which appear orderly on the screen without any clutter.
(4) When using the delete tool, select the object to be deleted. You can choose from the auxiliary lines created by this plugin, SketchUp native auxiliary lines, or all auxiliary lines.
2. Vertical Projection

——This tool is used to vertically align projected objects on the surface of a geometric plane.
Usage: Click on a surface as the projection plane, select auxiliary points, auxiliary lines, edges, curves, or planes for projection. Press Enter to select another projection plane, or press Esc to exit the tool.

3. Projection along vectors

——This tool aligns the projected object along the vector on the surface of the geometric plane.
Usage: Determine the projected vector through 2 points, click on a surface as the projection plane, and select auxiliary points, auxiliary lines, edges, curves, or planes for projection. Press Enter to select another vector and projection plane, or press Esc to exit the tool.

4. Stretching along a vector

——This tool stretches edges or faces along a vector.
Usage: Use 2 points to determine the projected vector, click on auxiliary points, edges, or planes to stretch. Press the Ctrl key to switch to push-pull mode, and click the Escape key at any time to exit the tool.

5. Delete projection auxiliary line
——This tool can delete auxiliary lines and auxiliary points.
Before using this tool, please select the content to be deleted in the settings: this option will be remembered during all operations.
All auxiliary lines: Delete all auxiliary lines.
Plugin auxiliary lines: Delete all auxiliary lines created by the plugin (keep regular auxiliary lines unchanged), this is the default option.
SketchUp Guides: Only remove guides created by SketchUp basic tools.

2、 Tool Description:
1. When creating guide lines, each tool uses the color set for the guide lines in the current style.
2. All previews parallel to the XYZ axis are displayed in red, green, and blue, respectively.
3. Each command can be inferred and locked using modifier keys (such as pressing Shift key).
4. All commands can use lines, faces, and auxiliary lines within groups and components (of course, there is also a "model" level), except for "vertical auxiliary lines".
5. All commands are checked for the existence of objects (if necessary) and filtered to ignore incorrect objects during execution.
6. Every time the command is used, the automatic 'clean up' routine will erase all overlapping auxiliary lines or points.
7. All commands are 'revocable'.
3、 Preview color:
Every time a geometric shape is previewed, a simple color preview is used:
1. The red line is parallel to the X (red) axis, the blue line is parallel to the Z (blue) axis, and the green line is parallel to the Y (green) axis.

2. The blue line is parallel to the XZ (red blue) plane, the magenta line is parallel to the YZ (green blue) plane, and the yellow line is parallel to the XY (red green) plane.

3. Other lines will be drawn using the color of the auxiliary lines set in the style, and faces that are not in a specific plane will be drawn in gray.
Be careful with old versions! Shows the old version for reference and testing purposes, you should use the latest version.

A set of projection tools designed to simplify the modeling process for projecting or stretching objects on a plane. It can project various types of objects (guides, points, lines, faces, etc.) and create guides between the source object and the projected object.
When deleting auxiliary lines, it will distinguish between auxiliary lines drawn by this plugin, SketchUp native auxiliary lines, or auxiliary lines drawn by other plugins, and can be selectively or completely deleted.Projections Settings(Projections Settings)
Animation Tutorial
From the dialog box, set the type, layer, projection track and delete guide object of projection.
Project objects perpendicularly(Project objects perpendicularly)
Animation Tutorial
After executing the command, select the projection plane, and click other guides, points, lines, and face elements to align the vertical projection to the projection plane.
SettProject objects along vectorings(SettProject objects along vectorings)
Animation Tutorial
After executing the command, set the vector and select the projection plane. Click other auxiliary lines, points, lines and face elements to align to the projection plane along the vector projection.
Extrude lines or face along vector(Extrude lines or face along vector)
Animation Tutorial
After executing the command, set the vector. Click other points, lines and face elements to stretch along the vector. This command can stretch points into lines and lines into faces. Click Ctrl to switch to push and pull along the vector.
Erase guides(Erase guides)
Animation Tutorial
Depending on the projection settings, the plug-in guides / points or SketchUp guides are deleted when the command is executed, or all are deleted at the same time.
