You can fillet, chamfer, extend, and connect two edges on the same face< br />Fillet: Creates a radius that connects lines tangent to an arc< br />Chamfer: Creates a line of the desired length to connect the lines (perpendicular to the miter angle)< br />Extend: Extends or trims lines to connect at intersections< br />Connect: Creates a line that connects two pick lines< br />
Key points:
1. If you click the command without selecting any sideline, there will be no parameter pop-up window. You can directly select the sidelines in order to operate. Modify the parameters in the status bar value box.; When any number of valid (i.e. coplanar and non parallel) edges are preselected, the parameter setting box will pop up, indicating the "radius" and "number of segments" to be used; You can also right-click "Radius Chamfer Settings" to reset parameters during operation< br />2. Press Ctrl to switch to Continuous Mode. When Continuous Mode is turned on, the second edge of the chamfer will automatically become the "first" edge of the next chamfer< br />3. Press Alt or Tab to cycle through Fillet, Chamfer, Extend, and Join modes< br />4. Lot with 90 ° segments. For arcs other than 90 °, segments will be performed proportionally< br />5. If any selected edge shares a face with another edge, the edge is not trimmed after the arc is created. If the face is shared only by the edges you select, the tool modifies the face to accommodate the newly added arc curve< br />
Disadvantages: automatic welding is not possible.
