Save the selected group or component in the model as SKP model file separately. Before saving, it is necessary to ensure that the model has been named and saved. When saving a group or component separately, a folder with the name of the model will be created by default. Of course, the name of the saved folder can be customized< br />
This tool has four commands to adjust the coordinate axis of the component, so you can choose to save the component with the component coordinate axis or the world coordinate axis. This function is very useful when we want to put the saved component back to the same location as the original file < br / >
Note: < br / >1. The save path cannot contain Chinese, that is, the location of the model and the name of the save folder cannot be Chinese, preferably English or a combination of numbers. If you find that an empty folder is generated when you save, but the group or component is not saved, please check whether there is Chinese in the path of this folder first< br />2. When multiple associated entities of the same component are selected to save as, the save component (origin) command can save duplicate entity components separately< br />3. When this function is applied to groups, SketchUp will not display the bounding box extending to the origin in group editing mode.
