Introduction

Add a lock to your SketchUp model document! SUAPP2 authorized users have priority to try it out, and the official version will be released for free!
This feature is based on the SketchUp kernel principle to implement model document copyright protection. Protected documents require entering the correct password to unlock, which can restrict the model from being edited or modified.

Model loss prevention:
Set the document password and select 'Allow editing and saving' in the 'Permission settings'. Once confirmed, generate a protected model document. After obtaining the model document, only the model preview image is displayed when opened, and a password must be entered to fully view the model and edit and save it.
Soft protection mode ensures that even if users lose model files, they cannot view them properly without a password (similar to compressed file encryption).
Model tamper proof:
Set the document password and select 'Restricted Editing and Saving' in the 'Permission Settings'. Once confirmed, generate a protected model document. After obtaining the model document, only the model preview image is displayed when opened. A password must be entered to display the model, but editing and modification cannot be made.
The hard protection mode ensures that after the model file is leaked, no further changes can be made to protect the interests of the design party and reduce disputes caused by file tampering.

The 1. X version of this program provides basic model protection, but there are still many shortcomings that will be gradually improved in future versions. Welcome users to provide comments and suggestions in the comments below!
