Introduction

This plugin synchronizes and separates entity components within a series of associated components in situ without affecting component characteristics.

Extract the selected entity in situ from its parent component to the upper level in the model hierarchy. If you no longer want all components to share certain geometric shapes, but instead want to be able to edit the geometric shapes separately for each instance, this plugin is very useful.

A typical use case would be a building project that includes many identical apartment modules. At a certain point, it is desired to remove all windows or furniture from the duplicate component so that it can be modified individually for each apartment.
