Introduction: The biggest problem after importing CAD files is the issue with the cover, which is mainly caused by the fact that objects such as circles, ellipses, and Spline curves defined in CAD are directly defined without the concept of segment numbers, while in SketchUp, all these objects have the concept of segment numbers. For example, a circle in CAD has a segment parameter when imported into SketchUp, so in SketchUp, the circle is actually a polygon and not a true circle. However, when we use SketchUp's own import function to import CAD files, we cannot directly set the precision of these objects, resulting in many curves not being perfectly joined at intersections, causing misalignment and making it impossible to directly cover them.

This plugin fundamentally solves the problem of CAD import. We can freely set the number of segments for imported arcs, circles, ellipses, and Spline curves, and it can also automatically disconnect at the intersection of curves. Using this plugin in conjunction with the cover plugin can perfectly and efficiently solve the cover problem of SketchUp importing CAD files from the root.

Note: DXF is a CAD data file format developed by Autodesk for exchanging CAD data between AutoCAD and other software.
